Bead Tapestry
Learn how to make wonderful bead tapestry pieces on a loom, with this beautiful new book. And yes, the book is called ‘Bead Tapestry’. The author is Jacqueline McCloy Pell, and she brings you...
Do you enjoy learning new beading techniques? Have you considered print books as a great place to learn?
My own library of beading and jewellery publications has taught me so much over the years. In fact, I learned most of the techniques from these.
You see, you get to learn from some of the world’s best beaders and authors. It’s lovely to have a collection of projects that are built around a theme. So, that could be a technique, or it could be a type of beading project.
Unlike beading patterns, you know that the material in a book has been professionally produced. So, you will get excellent quality photos, diagrams and instructions.
The reason it is valuable to check out some reviews is to find out whether the standard of the projects is suitable for you. So, are these explained in beginner terms, or has the author assumed a lot of prior knowledge?
In each of the reviews below, I have attempted to give you an idea about the projects included in the book. I have also suggested the level of experience for which they would be suitable. If that all sounds good to you, then I have included the full publication information and links to where you can buy them.
If you are an author or publisher and would like to see your print books reviewed on here, then please get in contact. I love to review new beading books and share them with the rest of the beading community.
If you have published an ebook, then I have a separate section in which I review those. So, if you’re looking for ebook reviews, use this link to find them.
