Ebooks are a great way to learn new beading techniques. We are seeing more and more of them appear on the market. Why is this? Well, they are cheaper to produce than printed books.

In the case of the ebooks that I have written, they also offer a huge advantage. I have been able to include video demonstrations. So, you still get the written instructions that you’re used to. But you also benefit from watching the demonstrations and learning that way. For anyone who is a visual learner, this can be extremely helpful.

Now, not all ebooks teach this way. Some are basically the print format arranged for a digital environment. So, do these offer any advantages?

Well, yes, actually. Firstly, the benefit of instant download. So, you don’t have to pay shipping charges or wait for your book to be delivered. You can buy it and immediately start beading.

Secondly, they help with the issue of storage. So, unless you’re fortunate enough to have a library in your house, it’s very likely you will soon run out of bookshelf space. Now, with a digital book, you don’t have to worry about that.

There is one other consideration. Just check whether you can print pages from your digital book. For most beading projects, it is helpful to be able to mark the pattern as you work. So, you need a printed page on which to do that. My own ebooks will all print out, so you really get the best of both worlds.

With those thoughts in mind, enjoy browsing the titles here.
