Scatter stars

I may as well begin with the decorations you saw in the blog title. These cute scatter stars take literally ten minutes to make. Plus, you can use them in a multitude of different ways.

They are simple Peyote stitch. And it’s super-easy to make them in different sizes, just by changing the size of beads you use. So, you can get creative and use up beads from your stash.

I’ve scattered them across the festive dining table (less messy than glitter, but still as sparkly!).

They also make fabulous decorations for the front of cards or gift tags. You can just hang them on your tree. Or…

…use them to create a beaded ornament cover. I’ve shown you how to do that in this tutorial.

Ornament covers can also be a great option for last-minute decorations in any case. So, if you need a few more ideas, I collated some different beaded ornament tutorials in this blog. Click here to read it now.

Quick and easy beaded Christmas stockings

Last year, I found myself in a bit of a pickle…a last-minute Christmas event (casual) and no jewellery to wear. (Actually, that’s a complete lie – I had tons of jewellery I could have worn, but nothing very festive!).

So, I came up with this cute pattern for Christmas stockings…

They are lightweight to wear and fun to make.

As with the stars, you might choose to use them in a different way…they also make great tree decorations. And, you can alter the size by just using different sizes of seed beads. (My pendant used size 11 and the earrings used size 15).

Definitely a winner!

Winter Warmers

If ‘cute’ is your thing, then you really can’t go wrong with a bobble hat and Christmas jumper (or sweater). The bobble hats take less than an hour to make. The sweaters/jumpers take slightly longer, but still come in at under two hours.

And, I guarantee that whoever receives these quick and easy Christmas decorations will love them!

Plus, it’s nice to have something you can get on a budget too. So, if you get all three of these patterns together from my Etsy store, you can grab yourself a 20% discount as well! Click here to visit my Etsy shop.
