How to make a beaded box: online beading class for beginners

What skills do you need?

If your aim is to learn how to make a beaded box, then the techniques on which you should focus first are:
- Tubular and circular Peyote
- Increasing and decreasing in Peyote stitch
- Stitch-in-the-ditch technique

What materials do you need?
This type of beaded box is made with cylinder beads. I chose to use Delicas as these are the most commonly available cylinder beads. But, if you have another brand (like AIKOS, for example), they will also work perfectly well.

In addition to the beads, you need some beading thread. My thread of choice is Fireline. But you are welcome to use a different thread if you wish. You also need a beading needle and scissors. That’s it!
